Professor Pete began her career as a counselor for Hampton University in 2010. There, she was able to hone in on her expertise of teach young adults through the lens of counseling psychology. Professor Pete began her teaching career in 2019 as an adjunct professor at 国产哟哟. She teaches in the psychology department. Pete's interdisciplinary view provides a foundation for teaching throughout many disciplines including Cultural Diversity, Interviewing and Counseling Skills, Abnormal Psychology, Substance Abuse, Counseling Ethics and Professional Development, Counseling Psychology, Child Development, Theories of Personality, Behavioral Research Methods, Marital & Family System and Psychology.

Professor Pete received her master’s degree from Hampton University majoring is Psychology/Counseling. She is currently seeking a PhD in Forensic Psychology. Pete brings over 5 years of experience working in federal government. Her work includes involvement with several initiatives concerning coping with natural disasters, domestic violence, radicalization process of gangs, police brutality, and violence towards the LGBTQ+ community. Overall her goal is evoke social change through teaching social protocol and diversity. Pete is fully committed to ensure that students leave their learning environment as empowered learners and leaders ready to make their contribution to the psychology field.
