Dual Licensure in Severe and Moderate Disabilities 5-12
国产哟哟's dual licensure program is designed to prepare highly-qualified professionals who can provide effective instruction to students with mild to severe disabilities, leading to dual Massachusetts Initial Licensure in both Severe Disabilities, All Levels and Moderate Disabilities 5-12. The dual concentration in both severe disabilities and moderate disabilities emphasizes modifications for the general education curriculum, applied academics, alternative assessments, transition and vocational strategies, and school and community inclusion. Threaded throughout the program are themes of diversity, community and family collaboration, and technology.
The coursework within the special education licensure programs is aligned to the Massachusetts Professional Standards for Teachers and the Council for Exceptional Children’s 2020 Initial Practice-Based Professional Standards for Special Education Teachers, with embedded High-Leverage Practices.
This program includes a yearlong practicum, including all special education settings and is for students seeking in both Severe Disabilities (All Levels) and Moderate Disabilities, 5-12.
All classes are offered 100% online, combining synchronous and asynchronous courses.
