The Medical Science degree program includes introductory science courses, upper-level science electives, and relevant interdisciplinary courses to provide the necessary skills for advanced study in healthcare. Students are prepared to pursue professional advanced degrees in such areas as Medicine, Physician Assistant, Dentistry, and Veterinary Science as well as other Healthcare related fields.

As a Medical Science degree major, you will:

Approach medical science holistically, studying foundational concepts alongside topics of ethics, spiritual health, wellness, and compassion
Begin your studies with core courses in biology and chemistry that provide a foundation for all medical-related fields
Choose between a faculty-mentored research project or professional internship that may be applied to experiential hours required by graduate schools

Physician Assistant Direct Entry Program

The Physician Assistant (PA) Direct Entry Program is designed to prepare highly qualified students for admission into 国产哟哟鈥檚 M.S. in Physician Assistant Studies program. Upon successful completion of the B.S. in Medical Science undergraduate program requirements and fulfillment of all PA graduate admission criteria, 10 students will be assured admission into the M.S. in Physician Assistant Studies program.

3-Year Bachelor's Degree

Students with a record of strong academic achievement and a desire to fast track their education are encouraged to apply to the accelerated degree program. The program allows students to earn their degree in three years of year-round study, enabling them to save on tuition costs and enter the workforce sooner.
