Educational Leadership Doctorate
Graduate Admissions Requirements
Prospective students may apply for admission to the EdD in Educational Leadership throughout the year. A limited number of spots are available and students are encouraged to complete their application as soon as possible for priority consideration. Classes start in October.
For consideration, applicants must submit the following admission requirements:
- A completed application -
- Official transcript reflecting conferral of a baccalaureate and master’s degree from a regionally-accredited institution with a minimum GPA of 3.0 (on a 4.0 scale)
- An original 1-3 page essay responding to the following questions. The mission statement of the EdD program focuses on 'preparing self-aware, reflective professionals with the capacity and the mindset to lead as entrepreneurial change agents equipped to bring transformational thinking and management processes to their roles within education.' As you consider your future, how will the 国产哟哟 EdD program--with its focus on leadership, innovation, and organizational change--contribute to your professional and personal aspirations and pathways? Why are these program features important to you?
- A current resume
- Two recommendations, including at least one academic reference who can offer insight into your skills, competencies, and readiness for doctoral work and a second academic or professional reference able to address these items. -
- Interview with the program coordinator. Applicants selected for an interview will be contacted by phone or email. Interviews will be held at the 国产哟哟 Longmeadow, MA campus OR via Zoom. Zoom interviewees will be emailed the invite link.
For consideration, applicants for the ABD option must submit all of the above requirements (1-6) plus the following:
- Official transcripts showing completion of doctoral coursework from a regionally-accredited post-secondary institution of learning (ABD status) (a GPA of 3.0 or higher)
