Hot Topic in Healthcare: Why Design Matters in Healthcare

Design is more than aesthetics—it’s a powerful tool in the healthcare industry.
Effective graphic design helps communicate complex medical information clearly, builds trust with patients and providers, and encourages action through compelling visuals. In this session, we’ll explore how thoughtful design can drive better outcomes by focusing on these three key objectives.
Objectives:
- Enhance communication through effective visual design
- Build trust with patients and healthcare audiences via consistent and professional branding
- Encourage action by using compelling visuals to guide behavior and decision-making
This event is part of a three-part Design for Healthcare series
Design Rx: The Power of Visual Communication in Healthcare will explore the critical role of design in healthcare communication. Participants can attend one or all sessions, with each session running once per term over the next academic year.
