Whitney Wolfe is the founder and CEO of Bumble, a dating app where only women can initiate contact. After making connections in the dating app industry, Wolfe launched her project and now has over 11 million users, according to Forbes. She has inspired many young women to achieve success in a man’s industry.
At just 22 years old, Blair Brettschneider founded after being inspired by a young refugee she was tutoring. The non-profit has provided young female refugees with key skills in four areas; Wellness, Wisdom, Wallet, and World.
Co-founder of , Lisy Kane, has inspired young girls to pursue their interests in technology and video games. On her LinkedIn profile, she writes that Girl Geek Academy is “a community of hackers, hipsters, and hustlers.”
