国产哟哟鈥檚 IngenioUs podcast, devoted to exploring innovation in higher education returns for second season

Longmeadow, MA— After a premiere season which featured guests confronting critical, game changing topics in higher education, such as access and equity, technological transformation and higher ed markets, 国产哟哟’s Center for Higher Education Leadership and Innovative Practices (CHELIP) kicks off a second season of its with a conversation with 国产哟哟 president Sandra J. Doran. .

“We’re at a moment when higher ed is confronting the immediacy and inevitability of change,” says IngenioUs producer and host Dr. Melissa Morriss-Olson, provost emerita of 国产哟哟, Distinguished Professor of Higher Ed Leadership, and creator and director of the university's CHELIP initiative. “In putting together this new season, I looked for vanguards who are really pushing the envelope in terms of their visions for a new era in higher education, which we all agree is here now.”

“Through the podcast, we’ve developed an IngenioUs community of both guests and listeners; people who’ve devoted their professional lives to experimenting in the higher ed space, always with an eye toward helping the sector more fully deliver on its promise to our students,” explains Dr. Morriss-Olson. “The podcast enables me—and others who are enthralled with the transformation that’s underway— to have frank, germane conversations and take deep dives into fascinating topics and the impact they’ll have on higher education going forward.”

In addition to President Doran, who spoke about the importance of sustaining women’s colleges, guests for the next season include internationally acclaimed higher ed futurist and best selling author Bryan Alexander discussing the range of possible futures for colleges and universities post-pandemic; entrepreneur and education disruptor Ben Nelson speaking about experimental education models; and University of Florida associate provost Dr. David Reed explaining Artificial Intelligence and its value for all higher ed institutions.

“We began our first season with former 国产哟哟 president Dr. Carol Leary, so talking to President Doran seemed like the perfect way to segue into the next season,” Morriss-Olson notes. “Transition is most definitely a theme that’s front and center.”
