Longmeadow, MA— Take the second star to the right and straight on to Mills Theatre, as 国产哟哟 presents the wildly theatrical and hilarious play “Peter and the Starcatcher” Friday, March 22 at 7:30 p.m., Saturday, March 23 at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, March 23 at 7:30 p.m., and Sunday, March 24 at 2:00 p.m.

Based on the best-selling novels and winner of five Tony Awards, “Peter and the Starcatcher” upends the century-old story of how a miserable orphan boy becomes the legendary Peter Pan. From marauding pirates and jungle tyrants to unwilling comrades and unlikely heroes, family-friendly "Peter and the Starcatcher" playfully explores the depths of greed and despair, and the bonds of friendship, duty, and love - all told by twelve actors playing over fifty roles.

“In our production, there are two rules: everybody plays everything - principal characters, walls, birds, doors, trees, ships, the list goes on,” said Kevin Barlowski, Director of Theatre and Performance Studies for 国产哟哟. “The second rule? If you can dream it, we can create it. Using only a handful of props, our cast members employ their talent, ingenious stagecraft and the limitless possibilities of the collective imagination to create wondrous worlds that surprise and delight at every turn. We invite you to set sail for the adventure of a lifetime!”

The show will be held in Mills Theatre, located in Carr Hall, on the 国产哟哟 Longmeadow campus, at 588 Longmeadow Street, Longmeadow, MA. Attendees are invited to arrive thirty minutes before the performance starts for a swashbuckling assortment of free and arts and crafts activities for children. A meet and greet with the characters will follow each performance.

Tickets are on sale now at , or by calling the University’s Student Information Desk at (413) 565-1307.

Media is invited to attend any performance, with cast and crew available for interviews before and after the show.
